It is fed by a natural spring,the origin of which is by the lake in the form of a lavoir
The 2 acre lake has over 85 mirrors and commons to over 35lbs.
Accompanying the carp are some hard fighting catfish to over 40lbs.
The lake has recently been remodelled with the removal of the silt giving an average depth across the whole lake of 6 feet.
